Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Claudia Tamas was born and raised in Romania where she received training as a teacher. She worked as an elementary school teacher for two years prior coming to The United States. Claudia continued her education in the US graduating Cum Laude from Kean University with a BA in Psychology in 2010. During her undergraduate studies Claudia worked as a physical therapy aide in several orthopedic and pediatric settings.
She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, graduating with Alpha Eta honors from Seton Hall University, also receiving the Award for Excellence in Research in 2014.
Dr. Tamas’ clinical training includes pediatric rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation for conditions such as acute and chronic stroke, vestibular conditions, spinal cord injury and orthopedic rehabilitation. Claudia is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certified by The National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Certified Running Injuries Specialist certified by The Running Clinic and is currently pursuing a Masters in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at University of Western States.
