The following local organizations will help us in thanking our community at our 20 year Anniversary Appreciation event: Profeta Farms, ShopRite, Gold’s Gym, Simply Sustainable, Greener, Cleaner Living and Tracing Your Path.
Natural Medicine & Rehabilitation (NMR) is celebrating their 20 year anniversary this Fall! To help celebrate this milestone of helping people enjoy better health they are hosting an Appreciation Event on 10/4 from 6-8pm as their way of thanking and giving back to the community that has entrusted them with their health and wellness over the last 20 years.
Since 1998, when Dr. Vincent Sferra began the practice in Bridgewater, NMR has taken a holistic approach to healthcare with their primary focus on physical rehabilitation, clinical nutrition and services to help with stress reduction. These core services address the ‘Triad of Health’ pillars which can most easily be referred to as ‘you are what you EAT, THINK and DO.’
Today NMR is located in Somerset in their newly renovated facility and offers a range of additional services from physical therapy, chiropractic care, clinical nutrition, weight loss, hormone optimization, acupuncture, biofeedback and stress tempering services to programs to help with sports injury prevention, detoxification, women’s health, reclaiming your health after a cancer diagnosis and more.
Envisioning a society that consistently acts on its responsibilities toward greater health, Dr. Sferra and his staff of over 25 people have always made their community relation efforts a priority in supporting their mission of educating the community on different aspects of preventative health. By providing health and wellness workshops, lectures and health screenings in corporate and community settings they are empowering people with information and resources to live longer, stronger and healthier lives.
Their 20 year anniversary celebration is in this same spirit of giving back to the community with the many activities they have planned during this open house to help people enjoy better health and wellness. Many local organizations will help NMR in thanking the community by participating in their Appreciation event. Profeta Farms will have a table filled with their local organic produce, Shop Rite will be provide a cooking demonstration for Pear & Pomegranate Salsa at a Chips and Dip bar, Gold’s Gym will be providing 7-day free guest passes, Simply Sustainable will teach you how to detoxify your home with healthy products, Greener, Cleaner Living will demonstrate healthier household cleaning products to reduce your toxic burden and Tracing your Path will teach you about hypnotherapy and help you create your own personal affirmation. The staff at NMR will be teaching you ways to re-think your drink with a juicer/protein shaker bottle to take home with infused water recipes to try, or stop by and learn mindfulness techniques for stress reduction, make and take home your own Lavender Sachet, and try samples at our Detox and Juicing demonstrations. To help those in need, NMR will make a donation to the Franklin Food Bank for every person attending our event. There will also be food, beverages, give-a-ways, door prizes and much more!
