Ellen Policastri L.Ac., AP, Dipl. Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist in New Jersey, licensed Acupuncture Physician in Florida and nationally board certified Diplomat of Acupuncture (NCCAOM). Ellen has been in practice for over 12 years in an integrative medical setting and is an experienced clinician; passionate about helping people heal and stay well. She has worked with a broad range of patients in all age groups and focuses on a preventative and holistic approach while also providing a gentle experience.
Her education and training was completed at the accredited East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL where she earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and Bachelor’s degree in Professional Health Sciences. Ellen also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Having received extensive training in orthopedic and neuromuscular acupuncture Ellen specializes in treating acute and chronic pain syndromes as well as assisting in patient’s rehabilitation from all types of injuries.
Incorporating a wide array of modalities including lifestyle and dietary advice, Ellen is also proficient at treating and managing a variety of internal medicine concerns including: colds/flu, allergies and asthma, gastrointestinal issues, women’s and men’s health issues as well as pediatric care and fertility support, emotional and sleep disorders, autoimmune and neurological pathologies and providing support during the treatment of various cancers and other chronic illness. She also has a background in Cosmetic Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation, a non-invasive treatment that effectively rejuvenates your facial skin’s vitality for healthier more youthful appearance.
