This edible almond flour cookie dough is a healthy treat that Anna made for us! It is gluten-free and dairy-free. It can also be made nut-free, if you use the coconut flour instead of the almond flour and sun butter instead of a nut butter. And unlike other cookie dough, this healthy recipe doesn’t include eggs so you won’t need to worry about salmonella from eating raw eggs.
There is no special equipment needed and you can whip these up in no time for a healthy treat.
Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour or coconut flour if allergic to nuts
1 tablespoon Peanut butter or sun butter if allergic to nuts
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Chocolate chips
Directions: Mix the first 4 ingredients together in a large bowl. Then fold in the chocolate chips and dig in! You can eat these right out of the mixing bowl, or if you want to share these with others, and you have the patience to wait and eat this delicious treat, you could form them into edible cookie dough balls and refrigerate for later.
