Homemade Teriyaki Sauce for your Father’s Day Celebration

Homemade Teriyaki Sauce for your Father’s Day celebration is healthier, more economical and simple to prepare!  Bottled marinades and salad dressings can be loaded with unhealthy fats, sugar, artificial ingredients and calories!
Try making them from scratch.
 
Homemade Teriyaki Sauce
From NMR’s kitchen to yours

 1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons White Wine
1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 London Broil

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.  Put London Broil into a shallow dish or Zip-lock bag.
Pour the marinade over the London Broil.  Let it marinade for several hours or overnight.
Grill and enjoy!
Homemade Vinaigrette
Use this simple Vinaigrette as a
salad dressing or to marinade vegetables for grilling
3/4 cup Olive Oil
1/4 cup Vinegar (Balsamic or Apple Cider)
1/2 tsp. Honey
Salt & Pepper to taste
You may also add minced garlic, onion, or shallots, fresh or dried herbs such as Oregano or Basil.
Mix all ingredients in a blender or shaker bottle.
Use as a salad dressing or as a marinade for vegetables.  Pour marinade over sliced veggies, such as zucchini, summer squash or mushrooms.  Let it marinade for several hours or overnight.  Grill and enjoy!
