Physical exercise can get your blood pumping and enable you to move allergens through the bloodstream quickly. Stagnant allergens can settle in the sinuses and cause inflammation. Our physical therapists can do a sinus release to open those sinuses for better drainage which means less pressure in your face, less headaches, and an ability to breathe through your nose again. You can try this exercise at home; begin by standing in front of a mirror to help find the points on your face. Apply firm but gentle pressure with your index finger for 1 minute to each of sites pictured. The first location is right above the inner corners of your eyebrows. The second point is located directly under your eyes in the middle of your cheeks. Breath Deeply and repeat 2-3x!
