Dr. Claudia Tamas is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) with a passion for helping women feel strong, confident, and safe in their bodies again. With an unusual dual-disciplinary education in movement science and high-level medical training, she provides truly comprehensive, root-cause care for women who are going through osteoporosis, perimenopause, menopause, and the myriad health issues that accompany midlife and beyond.
Claudia graduated from Seton Hall University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, with honors and the Award for Excellence in Research. Later, she earned her Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) degree at Purdue University Global, which allowed her to deliver integrative medical care to older women. She also holds the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation.
Dr. Claudia is the first U.S. clinician to use and teach the ONERO® program and is a Certified ONERO® Provider, having worked with hundreds of women over the years to increase bone density, posture, balance, and functional confidence using safe, research-based strength training protocols. She is also an Integrative Bone Health Provider trained in root cause approaches to bone health, which include hormones, metabolism, gut health, inflammation, and lifestyle factors that all affect the strength of the bone and long-term fracture risk.
In keeping with Dr. Claudia’s dedication to whole-person, brain-body longevity, she has finished the ReCODE Provider Training for the prevention and early intervention of Alzheimer’s disease. She is also a proud member of the American Menopause Society, bringing her up‑to-date knowledge of the latest and most evidence-based treatments for perimenopause and menopause.
Dr. Claudia is also an active community health educator. She helps women understand their bodies and make informed decisions about aging well by regularly giving community lectures on women’s health, menopause, and bone health. Her writing for local magazines covers health and wellness, where she breaks down medical jargon into easy-to-understand, empowering information. She also provides preventive health screening and educational seminars to help women in the region detect and reduce risk and promote preventive health.
Claudia has assisted hundreds of women throughout her career to regain strength, strengthen their bones, tone their bodies, find stability, regain self-confidence, and feel comfortable in their bodies, after years of being dismissed, confused, or fearful about women’s health. Her methodology is science-based, woman-centric, strength-oriented, and combines medical expertise with movement expertise to develop individualized plans to help women thrive in their multifaceted lives at home, work, and community.
