Wrist Pain relief with the Quadruped Wrist Flexor Stretch

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Wrist pain can be experienced by anyone who works on a computer or uses a cell phone. This Quadruped Wrist Flexor Stretch helps stretch the forearm muscle and can decrease wrist stiffness and pain.

Setup

  • Start on all fours with your wrists under your shoulders and your knees under your hips.

Movement

  • Begin by rotating your arms so that your palms are facing away from your body. Once you are in this position, hold.

Tip

  • Make sure you push through your palms to keep your shoulders from falling inward and keep your chin tucked.

Wrist pain may be due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which is a relatively common diagnosis causing pain, stiffness and weakness of the wrist and hand.  These symptoms are common among office workers as well as those who perform intense, repetitive movements with the wrist, hand, and fingers. Laser Therapy at Natural Medicine & Rehabilitation can help. This non-invasive, pain-free therapy improves quality of life without surgery, downtime, or side effects.  These lasers are not the same as the high-powered lasers that are used in surgery for cutting and burning tissue. In fact, the treatment with low level laser is 100% painless. This therapy has numerous positive effects on inflammation, pain and healing and can help those suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Learn more about Laser Therapy” color=”info” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fnmrnj.mystagingwebsite.com%2Four-services%2Flaser-therapy-nj%2F%23|||”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
