Reduce Tension with Mindfulness

Use Mindfulness techniques to help pay attention to the present moment, reduce tension and develop skills for better health. Mindfulness consists of different elements of breathing, awareness and exercises that can help reduce headaches, neck pain and stiffness, jaw pain and upper back discomfort.  Participants will learn techniques including:

  • Diaphragmatic Breathing
  • Posture Education
  • Exercises to relieve tension in the neck, shoulder, upper back and jaw
  • Acupressure Points to help relieve tension and stress

By paying attention…or being mindful…to our bodies, we can create better health and help prevent illness and injury.
